4-Week Introduction to Mindfulness Course
News Flash: You are not too distracted or too restless to meditate!
Seriously, during this crazy time, we are alive, my meditation practice has grounded me and consistently oriented my heart towards love, hope, and thinking about how I can help and contribute. If you also want to invite more love, hope and possibility into your life, come join me for an online 4-week Introduction to Mindfulness Course designed for ADHD folks and anyone who just can’t meditate.
Through a combination of talks, guided exercises, and group reflections, participants, like you, gain insights into the science and art of mindfulness, developing skills to integrate these teachings into your daily lives for lasting positive change.
Why take this introduction to mindfulness course?
Extensive research on mindfulness, conducted by scientists, has revealed mindfulness’s capacity to help people, like you, achieve the following:
- Reduce stress level
- Improve emotional functioning
- Increase self-compassion
- Improve the quality of life
- Reduce depression and anxiety symptoms for adults
- Potentially improve executive functioning
- Reduce ADHD symptoms for both adults and children, especially inattention
This course includes my own tweaks on how I manage to meditate pretty consistently with an ADHD brain as well as what I learned from the Neurodviersity-Informed Mindfulness course.

Who is teaching the course:
Ying Deng is a certified mindfulness teacher in training with the renowned meditation teachers Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program. Ying also provides ADHD Coaching in English and Mandarin 普通话, as a certified transformation life coach, and has training in Positive Psychology. Before Ying even realized she had ADHD, she managed to somehow trick her brain into meditating every single day for 500+ days. Throughout that process, Ying discovered many useful techniques that could make meditation more accessible, enjoyable, and fun for more people out there, including those with ADHD.
